On the work front, Alia was last seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania, which also starred Varun Dhawan. She was supposed to start working on Ayan Mukerji’s Dragon in September this year, but we hear that the shoot has been pushed to November. Apparently, she was supposed to also be a part of Anand L Rai’s next starring Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan but no confirmation regarding the same has been made so far.

Actress Priyanka Chopra says her “Baywatch” co-star Zac Efron is “fascinating and inspiring” when it comes to following fitness regime. “‘Baywatch‘ has been such an incredible experience to work on. There are many funny things that happened but the funniest thing to happen to me during the shoot was Zac Efron’s abs and how he maintains them,” Priyanka said in a statement.

The actress, who also associated with Movies Now to promote her forthcoming film, added: “All he does is workout between shots and it’s pretty fascinating and very inspiring; makes me want to go to the gym.” The “Quantico” star has made her Hollywood debut with “Baywatch”, which has been adapted from the 1990s’ popular TV series of the same name.

The film, also starring Dwayne Johnson, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach and Jon Bass, has released internationally, and not got good response. It failed to impress the critics and failed to create an impact on the box-office too. It is slated to release in India on Friday.

Priyanka is in talks to join two projects — indie drama “A Kid Like Jake”, starring Jim Parsons and Claire Danes, and Rebel Wilson starrer “Isnt It Romantic”. According to variety.com, Priyanka will shoot “A Kid Like Jake” in June and then immediately begin production on “Isn’t It Romantic” in July before returning to television series “Quantico”.

“A Kid Like Jake”, which will be directed by Silas Howard, follows two parents who are in the process of filling out kindergarten applications for their four-year-old boy who is gender variant. After realising that they can’t afford private school tuition, the director of Jake’s preschool encourages them to emphasise Jake’s gender variance to help him stand out and earn a scholarship.

Meanwhile, Todd Strauss-Schulson’s “Isn’t It Romantic” will also feature Adam Devine and Liam Hemsworth. The romantic comedy follows a young woman (Wilson) who gives up on love only to mysteriously find herself trapped inside a romantic comedy. Priyanka became popular in the West through her lead role in “Quantico”, which has had two seasons so far.

Like Ok’s popular comedy show May I Come in Madam’s lead actress, Neha Pendse, has reportedly been given an ultimatum by the producers to lose weight. The actress plays a boss of a company where an employee (played by Sandeep Anand) is totally smitten by her looks and constantly tries to seek her attention. If reports are to be believed then the producers have asked Neha to get back in shape as they feel she doesn’t look fantasy-worthy anymore. If she fails to do so then she would be replaced, Mid-Day reported.

“The producers have given her an ultimatum to lose weight soon, otherwise they will not be able to continue working with her. Recently, when a few mediapersons visited our set for her interview, Neha refused to meet them. She knows she has put on weight over the past year and didn’t wish to be photographed,” a source told the daily.

The show has been on air for the last 14 months and has been quite popular among the viewers. Neha, who has dismissed the reports, says people like her the way she is. “The producers have said no such thing. People like me the way I am. Whether I am thin or not, no one has an issue,” she said.

However, the source maintained that Neha has indeed been asked to lose weight.”Why else would the makers extend the contract of all the artistes by another year and Neha’s by just six months,?” the source asked rhetorically.
